About Drawbridge
Drawbridge provides cybersecurity to the world’s leading hedge funds, private equity firms, and portfolio companies through its Cyber Risk Intelligence platform.
We have a tremendous opportunity for an early career (or career kick off) position in QA.
The role
The role provides a unique opportunity to work with the in-demand disciplines of cybersecurity and AI as applied to software quality assurance.
You'll work inside a small agile team alongside developers and product, help build the practice, and learn how to test AI along the way. You'll test a cybersecurity platform used by investment firms around the world, working across web applications, APIs, data pipelines, and AI-powered features. Agents propose tests, pipelines verify them and people decide.
This is an automation-first QA role. We expect code to be part of your testing toolkit.
What you'll do
Write and maintain automated tests across UI, API, data pipelines, and AI prompts.
Build eval sets for AI features and identify hallucinations, regressions, and inconsistent output.
Test authentication, authorization, permissions, and data protection controls.
Triage pipeline failures in Azure DevOps and write bug reports developers can act on.
Work with developers and product through sprint planning, refinement, and release. Raise risks early rather than at the end.
Run smoke, regression, and post-release checks.
Help improve test frameworks, test data, and quality tooling.
What you bring
0-2 years in QA or software development. Internships, bootcamps, open-source contributions, and personal projects count.
Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
Familiarity with SQL, Git, and modern development workflows.
Hands-on use of AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor.
Comfort working in a sprint team and asking questions in the open.
Strong curiosity, healthy skepticism of AI output, and clear written communication.
Nice to have
Playwright, API testing tools, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Fabric, LLM evaluation tools, OWASP, RBAC, or cybersecurity experience.
What you'll learn
Modern test automation practices.
AI and LLM testing techniques.
Test strategy for cybersecurity software.
CI/CD pipelines and quality engineering.
- How high-performing product, engineering, and QA teams build software together.
